Joanna Robson, DVM Related Seminars and Products


Dr. Robson is purposed to provide options and educate, to coach others to be the best possible versions of themselves and to create necessary compassionate change in the equine industry from the backyard client to the Grand Prix ring. She is a 2002 Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine Honors Program graduate, and completed a rotating internship in Medicine and Surgery at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Canada before returning to private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area. Inspired to follow her passion of a whole horse approach to wellness, she founded Inspiritus Equine in 2005, and certified in Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy (HOWC), Human Transformational Bodywork (Pacific School of Massage), Veterinary Acupuncture and Advanced Acupuncture (Chi Institute), Saddlefitting (Saddlefit4Life), and Infrared Thermography (Infraspection Institute). She has authored books, numerous articles, and DVDs, and has lectured and taught clinics globally, including presentations at Rolex Kentucky, the World Equestrian Games, Equitana Germany and Australia-Pacific, Equine Affaire, Thermal Imaging Conference, and more. Dr. Robson has been the Technical Director of EquineIR and Equine Integrated Infrared for over a decade and coauthored the International Standard in equine thermal imaging. With the rise of mental health issues and moral stress injury in Veterinary Medicine and beyond, she has added focus to veterinary industry wellness, and has certified in eCPR and begun advanced studies and certification in Organizational Leadership, and Human Veterinary Support and Social Work through the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Outside of practice she is a certified AFAA Group Fitness and Les Mills instructor, and enjoys teaching Bodycombat, Krav Maga self-defense, and being with her two awesome horses.
